In-Person Counseling

Online counseling is a convenient and safe way for you to attend counseling and yet not have to take over an hour out of your busy day!  Session are scheduled when they are convenient for you. Before work, during lunch, while your child is at after school activities or napping.  We provide you with a secure, HIPPA compliant web based platform that all sessions are completed through.

Is Online Counseling Effective?

The long and the short of it is yes.  Imagine being able to talk from the comfort of your own home and to be able to do this when it is convenient for you?  No more stuffy office settings.

Come visit our offices in Raleigh & Galax. With so many working from home, coming into the office may help bring a new, distraction-free environment. In-person therapy allows for a stronger connection between counselor and client and strengthens communication. Here are some additional benefits of in-person therapy:
*   Non-verbal cues: In-person sessions allow counselors to pick up on non-verbal cues, leading to a more comprehensive understanding of the client.
*   Enhanced rapport: Face-to-face interaction fosters trust and builds a stronger therapeutic relationship.
*   Reduced technical difficulties: Eliminates potential issues with technology and ensures uninterrupted sessions.

Teen Struggles

Is your teen or young adult struggling to get out of bed in the morning? Are you concerned that they are spending too much time alone in their room? Are they addicted to social media and care more about what others think? Are you concerned that they are depressed or anxious?

Anxiety

Do you hate meeting new people? Do you feel you are always waiting for the other shoe to drop?  Do you dread getting another invitation in the mail? Are you easily agitated or frustrated?  Do you snap at people or have a low tolerance?

Depression

That feeling you have that you can't explain.  Waking up in the morning and feeling like you are in a fog.  The thought of being around other people is exhausting.  The thought of hearing one more person tell you to "just be happy" makes you cringe.

Clinical Supervision

Dawn Marie Hall is a LCMHCS in North Carolina and an LPC supervisor in Virginia with over 12 years of private practice experience. Before entering private practice, she worked in various aspects of the counseling profession, including as a children's counselor in a battered women's shelter, in therapeutic foster homes, and with chronically mentally ill adults in apartments. In 2012, she was a Field Trials Collaborating Investigator for the DSM-5. After relocating to North Carolina, she helped open Triangle Springs as the Director of Outpatient Services. Now, she offers in-person sessions in Virginia through this private practice. She draws upon these experiences to offer an eclectic yet authentic perspective on what counseling can provide, particularly through supervision.
