Meet Tranisha Hubbert, LCMHCA, LCASA - Coming Soon!

Specialties

Tranisha enjoys working with adults and older adolescents navigating anxiety, stress, life  transitions, identity exploration, self-esteem, relationship concerns, substance use, and co occurring mental health challenges. She is passionate about supporting individuals who are  learning to navigate difficult seasons while staying connected to what matters most to them.

Tranisha provides inclusive, culturally responsive, and affirming care and welcomes individuals  from all cultural backgrounds, belief systems, identities, and lived experiences.

Therapeutic Approach

Tranisha believes healing begins when we are anchored in our values. Her approach is  collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique experiences and goals. She  integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical  Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, and person-centered counseling to help clients develop  practical tools, increase self-awareness, and build resilience.

Rather than focusing on who clients "should" be, Tranisha works alongside them to identify their  strengths, clarify their values, and create meaningful change that aligns with the life they want to  live.

Philosophy

Tranisha's path to becoming a counselor wasn't a straight line, and that perspective shapes the  way she connects with clients today. Growing up in a low-income, single-parent household,  working in restaurants for many years, and overcoming academic setbacks taught her that people  are far more than the hardest chapters of their story. She believes everyone deserves to be seen  beyond their circumstances and given the opportunity to grow.

A defining moment in Tranisha's life came when a close friend experienced a severe mental  health crisis and fell through the cracks of multiple systems of care. That experience inspired her  to pursue counseling and advocate for more connected, compassionate support for individuals  and families.

Her work is also deeply influenced by her grandmother's lifelong commitment to serving others.  When her grandmother shared that she hoped to leave a legacy of love, endurance, and  perseverance, those words became the foundation of Tranisha's personal and professional  mission. To her, they represent the values that help people remain grounded through life's  challenges while continuing to grow.

Tranisha strives to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, respected, and empowered.  She considers it a privilege to walk alongside people as they discover their strengths, foster  healing, and build lives that reflect their own values and purpose.

Interests

Outside the therapy office, Tranisha is a proud Beyoncé fan, loves The Golden Girls, enjoys  community service, and believes there is no such thing as too many comfortable shoes— especially if there's a matching bag.

Availability

Tranisha currently provides virtual therapy for clients throughout North Carolina. As she builds  her practice, she offers appointments by appointment only with flexible daytime and evening  scheduling to help accommodate clients' needs. She welcomes new clients and offers a  complimentary consultation to determine whether she is the right fit for your counseling journey.
