Jeremy’s Voice

Real people. Real stories. Real change.

Jeremy’s Voice is a podcast hosted by Dawn Hall, created in memory of her husband, Jeremy, who was killed in the line of duty while working as a corrections officer.

What began with sharing Jeremy’s story has grown into a broader purpose: making space for voices and experiences that too often go unheard.

Through personal reflections and conversations, Jeremy’s Voice seeks to bring together perspectives from current and former corrections officers, people who have experienced incarceration, and the families whose lives are shaped by the system.

These experiences are not all the same—and they don’t have to be for each person’s humanity to matter. We can acknowledge harm, ask difficult questions, and listen with compassion without setting accountability aside.

The purpose is not simply to revisit what happened, but to explore what can change: how we support mental health, recognize trauma, strengthen safety, and treat people with dignity.

Every story matters. Every voice deserves to be heard. And change begins when we listen.
